He received Delegations from Ndian, Meme, and Manyu divisions to sample their views and to solicit their expectations as far as the presidential reconstruction plan is concerned.
The different Delegations had separate audiences with the national coordinator of the reconstruction plan and his collaborators.
On the wishlist of the people of Manyu were the reconstruction of schools and health units, communication structures, and provision of social amenities like water and electricity.
The people of Ndian however, had two specific demands, firstly the rehabilitation of Pamol, and secondly the construction of an oil refinery in Ndian, before schools, houses, and health units can follow.
The people of Meme had on their wishlist or menu of demands, the employment of the youths, reconstructing mindsets of the people, provision of electricity, and infrastructural development.
The three Delegated commissions urged Minister Tassong Paul to treat their demands as an emergency.
After 6hours of engaging, vigorous and consequential deliberations and sustained exchange of useful ideas, Minister Tassong and his collaborators thanked the delegations from the three divisions for coming and assured the delegations with absolute certainty that the initiative will proceed in a transparent and fair fashion, adding that the reconstruction plan will be a major step towards peace and reconciliation.
