Speaking during a press conference in Yaounde, the opposition leader says Biya has govern Cameroon though “terror and contempt” for the past 40 years, adding a regional election within the framework of existing electoral laws would be a all too much
′′ If the time has arrived, then it has arrived […] Our fight goes to its final phase.”
′′ Mr. Paul Biya governs Cameroon through contempt and terror since almost 40 years… The attempt to organize an election in Cameroon under current conditions by the illegitimate and illegal regime of Yaoundé will lead to the launch of a national campaign by massive protests envisioned to demand Paul Biya’s departure from power ′′ he said

Responding to the threat, territorial administration minister Paul Atanga Nji downplayed the importance, says the DO and SDOs know what to do the keep the country safe
Atanga Nji was speaking in Edea as he took relief materials to flood victims in that part of the country.
